FAQs

1How much space will I need for the indoor teepees?
The set-up teepees with mattresses measure at L160cm x W90cm. You also have optional trays included in the package which usually take up another 50cm in front of each bed. There are lots of set-up combinations we can try to make the most accommodating camp for your numbers. We usually ask for the measurement of the space and a photo so we can estimate what the best use of space would be to ensure we’re able to work our magic on the day.
2How much space will I need for a bell tent?
The bell tents each have their own footprint. The smallest being 6m x 6m. You can see ‘here’ on the tent selection page what each of their footprints are. Tents can only be erected on grassy areas. If you’re adding a picnic table, we will be able to advise what sort of clearance you require depending on your requested set-up and numbers.
3What’s included as standard in your sleepover parties?
We include: hand-crafted CE marked individual tents, 100% cotton CE certified canopies, comfy foam mattresses (160cm x 70cm), 100% organic cotton fitted sheets with mattress protectors, fluffy, anti-allergy pillow and duvets sets, cosy blankets, luxurious accent cushion selection, twinkling fairy lights, glowing lanterns, fluffy floor rugs, garlands, bunting and decor, breakfast trays, cups or bottles with paper straws. 4What happens if it's due to rain on the day of my Bell tent hire?
The bell tents are fully waterproof and are made to stand up to the British weather! In the case of very extreme weather conditions, we will discuss with you the possibility of postponing your party until the next suitable date.
5Will the mattresses be comfortable?
Absolutely! We’ve put a lot of thought into getting the right mattresses for our indoor and outdoor parties. For all indoor events we use 10cm thick foam mattresses (70cm x 160cm). These will comfortably sleep most children up to the age of 14. For outdoor adventures, we use air beds as they tend to be more comfortable on the cold ground.
6How long will you take to set up?
Allow up to two hours for us to set up and style your party space. If it's a larger set up with additional styling, we will agree an estimated time for you in advance.
7Is all the equipment you use safe?
With an expert grounding in event safety, we’re proud to say that our teepees and canopies are UKCA Certified and compliant with the Toy Safety Regulations.
8How many people can sleep in a bell tent?
Up to 12 in our largest tent, The Emperor.
9Will we need to provide bed linen/sleeping bags?
All duvets and linen will be provided for indoor and outdoor events. Due to COVID-19, we will ask you to provide your own pillows and pillow cases as it’s part of our COVID Secure method statement for the time being.
10What happens if the tents or kit gets damaged?
Accidents will happen. We do our best to make sure all the kit and accessories are as durable as possible and we understand that there will be wear and tear. We ask for a £100 security deposit at the time of booking and will only charge for items that do get badly damaged or need to be replaced. Please see our terms and conditions for more information.
11Are they any activities you can add?
There are indeed! We suggest that two activities are a great foundation for any event. Perhaps try our super cute build-a-bear kits or get creative with a trendy tie dye or bead making workshop! See our add ons page for more details.
12Can we use the indoor teepees outside?
The indoor teepees aren't suitable for a night under the stars but we do offer them outside for daytime garden/pajama parties if you so wish.
13Will we require a power supply?
All our fairy lights and lanterns are battery powered so no power source is required from you. If you wish to set up a screen in the bell tent for a movie night then we will provide a cordless power pack for you.
14What areas do you cover?
We’re based in Brighton and offer free delivery within a 20 mile radius. If you’re further a field, we will cost up an additional travel charge for you.
15Will it be cold at night in the bell tents?
With our 13.5 tog duvets and extra cosy blankets it will be warm and snug. We always advise some nice fluffy bed socks for outside campers which we can provide as part of our pamper bags or wash bags. Bells tents are available from late April through to September.
16Are you insured?
Yes, we have our own public liability insurance.
17Can we hire a bell tent in the winter?
Bell tents are available to hire from late April through to September.
18What's your cancellation policy?
We will always try to be accommodating and help assist you with moving your booking to the next suitable date if you need to cancel for any reason. If canceling within a month of your party date we will unfortunately need to keep your security deposit please see our terms and conditions.
19What’s the minimum and maximum number of guests?
The minimum booking for our indoor teepees is four guests, however, you can of course invite less guests if required. The maximum number of guests for an indoor teepee party is eight. The bell tents can sleep up to 12 guests. Be sure to select our largest tent, ‘The Emperor’, if you are hosting 12.
